During the Optical Art Movement of the 1960s, artists would create all sort of puzzling effects with color. For instance, this "flashing squares" drawing seems to wobble and flash when you concentrate on one particular area of the image. How many squares can you see in this diagram? Can you feel the "motion" of the image?

How many impossible objects can you find in this fantastic engineering drawing? How many outlandish specifications do you see?



There are 3 impossible rings, 1 impossible square, and the Devil's Trident. Can you identify all five objects? Feel free to submit this plan to your engineering department. It should keep them busy for a long, long time... :-P

See if you can spot out if the square is perfect?

Floating Motion optical illusion, you do not have to do anything but just exploratory eye movements over the image the centre square decouple. when you stare at the background it seems to move while central square remains in same place and it seems to float on top.

First look at point A and then to point B. Now see the square and you will feel its moving.



Look at A then change to B then change to A, when changing from A to B or from B to A you feel the squares are moving or when you reading this.

The drawing appears very oblique but all the small squares have the same size.

Neon color spreading effect

Do you see a pattern of large and small squares? The apparent neon squares seem to pulsate slightly when we concentrate on the image.

The square looks like waving and if you stare it more closely you eyes will feel little bit dizzy

The Orbison illusion is an optical illusion that was first described by the psychologist William Orbison in 1939. The bounding rectangle and inner square both appear distorted in the presence of the radiating lines.

The background gives us the impression there is some sort of perspective. As a result, our brain sees the shape distorted. This is a variant of the Hering and Wundt illusions.

Neon color illusion..Do you see an orange neon heart with a magic bright halo around it? View the picture from a good distance.

The color of the background is in reality perfectly UNIFORM. The apparent orange color is created by the interaction of the black lines with the yellow background and the apparent white halo by the interaction of the blue lines with the small dark squares.. The author’s name is G. Sarcone

Is this Square is Straight? The Square line seems to curve little bit and it also seems like moving.

This picture is completely still but the squares appears to move so amazingly.
