Impossible Wood Construction Illusion
This optical illusion is very well done. Can you guess the exact nature of this construction.

my guess two pieces of wood cut to the same length the "back one" is a standard rectangle the front one is cut with a 45 degree miter about 2" (but not all the way through the wood) from the end the pieces are then placed together the back one butts up against the miter. our eyes are drawn to the pencil mark on the side and top of the front piece which confuses the brain creating the optical illusion
