Mad guy optical illusion | Sad guy optical illusion
Mad and Sad drawing By Humberto Machado, can you figure out the two expressions?
sad to mad: right ear becomes right eye. left eye becomes left ear. right chick becomes nose. nose becomes left chick.
3 reasons why sad face is predominant: 1- when sad face has no shadow, the only dark part of it is the hair (beard mostly). dark is used for hair + right side face. 2- when sad face has pretty much centered lips, mad face got it way on left side. 3- when sad face has pretty much the head centered to body, mad face is quite tilted to the right.
nevertheless, i love it. great work with minimum details. and when you hide the 'middle' eye (right for sad face, left for mad), you got a crazy look dude with no nose.
