This is similar to the left and right brain illusion.
This illusions is simple – all you have to do is see the cat rotate in both directions. At first you may think it’s impossible, but after some practice you’ll soon be able to switch the direction with each round. I’m also interested to hear your comments about the original direction you saw the cat spin at? When I first saw this, it appeared to move clockwise. Now each time I see it – it’s just the opposite (concentrate on it’s tale to switch).

This is just changing the rotation at interval, I don think it is my mind or something else doing this but what is already programmed in the system thanks
no its not the cat is always spinning clockwise I even took it apart with gimp to see each frame. after a few minutes i was able to make it change direction at will and make it look like it was doing a 1/4 rotation each way I still don't understand how this works it would be nice to know the science behind the illusion
After you watch the tail for a while you visually think that you see the tail going through the cats legs while it's in the back and it makes the picture appear to be going the other way.
