13th Man Optical Illusion

Here we have an animated gif file. If you look closely you can count 12 little people. After the gif slides the image around you end up with 13 little people. How does this happen? I saw the same optical illusion done once with solid colored rectangles, the rectangle one is easy to see what happens, but this one is much more difficult because it is people.

Extra man Illusion

If your brain starts to seize up and you must have an answer then click on the picture and it will take you to laurenceholbrook.com where they devote a lot of words and images to making this possible to understand.

NOT AN OPTICAL ILLUSION!

Watch the second row from the left, guy at the top. Watch his SHOES! In that row when he moves the whole shoe moves. But when hes moved to the second row on the right there's EXTRA SHOE BITS!

SO when he moves back your essentially making another person by splitting him into two.

HA, I AM THE SMRTEST!

it seems to me that the "12 people" picture looks more real. ITs like by switching around the people, they cut away at each of the "12 people" to make one more person, like Frankenstein.

Notice how when there es 13 people, their bodies looks chopped, but never in the same areas.

WHen you go from one person to the other #1's head goes to #2's head and 2's goes to 3, and 3's body goes to 4 and so on and so forth till you CONVENIENTLY get to the person without a bottom as "Anonymous said...
